Support the Peforming Arts

Our Purpose

The Foundation was formed in loving memory of Sean Goodman in order to achieve the following goals.

*Provide Funds (scholarship and grants) through application and review process to performers and performing arts organizations that align with the foundation's vision. This may include providing funds related to COVID-19 shutdown and reopening efforts for budget cuts.

* Provide support and consulting mentorship services for performers  (through the recruitment of volunteers in their respected field.)

* Purchase tickets for the general public (individually or as a group) to see performances that they may not be able to afford them/have access otherwise.

*Provide a directory of "Community Partners" who are willing to offer no cost discounted resources and services to artists. Provide funds and supplies to purchase play licenses, to buy or make costumes, for set design materials etc.

The Sean Goodman Foundation of the Performing Arts envisions a world where people from all walks of life regardless of race, creed, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, gender identity, age, special needs, disabilities, and socio-economic level are given the necessary support and resources to express themselves, their beauty, and their essence in the form of art.

" Theater is a powerful art form, it teaches lessons about life, society, and emotion and more importantly yourself."

-Anastasia Roberts
